Axiomatics

Axiomatics provides externalized fine-grained authorization for APIs, microservices, databases, Big Data and applications. The Axiomatics authorization suite covers the lifecycle of policy-based access control, helping customers to create the framework, implement and maintain their policies, as well as enforce and audit access control. Axiomatics leverages the attribute based access control (ABAC) model, the latest development in an evolution of access control models going back more than 40 years (according to NIST). Combining MuleSoft’s leading API management solutions with Axiomatics’ ABAC capabilities enables MuleSoft to accommodate a broader range of enterprise customer security requirements. Unlike standard API keys or Role-based Access Control that fail in high-volume complex environments, this framework provides the caliber of access control security that is required to support API initiatives; including security drivers such as secure information sharing, IP and critical asset protection and compliance and audit requirements.
