SAP integration via Enterprise Gateway

The MuleSoft Enterprise Gateway for SAP, is a transport developed and supported by MuleSoft. Also known as our SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo), it works with either Mule as an ESB or CloudHub to provide two options for bi-directional connectivity between SAP and various applications on-premise or in the cloud.
Mule as an ESB
Mule as an ESB is a standalone Enterprise Service Bus offering a lightweight solution for integration with SAP. Leveraging MuleSoft’s library of out-of-the-box connectors and connector DevKit, integration with most popular applications is simplified. Mule as an ESB offers an integration platform for enterprise connectivity on-premise and in the cloud.
CloudHub
CloudHub is a cloud-based integration platform as a service taking on the challenge of cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-ground integration challenges. By developing simple integration applications that leverage cloud connectors, users can connect applications on-premise and in the cloud quickly. The CloudHub platform offers an end-to-end platform for developing and managing integration applications.
MuleSoft Enterprise JCo Connector
The MuleSoft JCo Connector rests above either Mule as an ESB or CloudHub and provides direct connectivity to SAP ECC. By employing other connectors such as our Salesforce.com connector, the platform (either Mule as an ESB or CloudHub) functions as middleware providing seamless integration between SAP ECC and SFDC. Users can easily invoke BAPIs (business application programming interface) and iDocs (intermediate document interface) in SAP to be used from one platform with ease. At a minimum, three components are required to fulfill the SAP connectivity solution: Mule as an ESB or CloudHub, the JCo Connector, and another endpoint connector (in this case the SFDC connector).

Execute BAPI functions over sRFC, tRFC, qRFC
Act as a JCo Server to be called as a BAPI
Send IDocs
Receive IDocs
Transform all SAP objects to and from XML
The Java Connector is SAP certified. It was developed in close collaboration with SAP’s Technical Certification Team.
