Compete in the first virtual MuleSoft Hackathon

Project categories
Everyday is an API day: Build something to showcase how APIs can enhance an everyday experience or build an API that is for fun and entertainment.
IoT and MuleSoft: Develop an Internet of Things solution that communicates with MuleSoft or is powered by the Mule Runtime.
Timeline
9am PT: MuleSoft Hackathon 2020 begins! You can start submitting your projects on Dev.to for an opportunity to win the ultimate prize. Submission criteria and more details announced October 22.
4pm PT: Opening MuleSoft Meetup! Come meet the organizers and get answers to your questions. RSVP here.
5pm AEDT: First Hackathon office hours hosted by Royston Lobo, Sr. Technical Architect at MuleSoft. Get inspired, ask questions, and socialize. This event is JAPAC time-zone friendly. More office hours will be posted on the MuleSoft Hackathon 2020 Meetup group. RSVP here.
11:59pm PT: The Hackathon submission period ends!
Time to determine the winners! Hackathon judges will deliberate which projects are the best based on the judging criteria.
Final verdicts are in. We will contact the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners and 10 runners-up.

How to submit
• Create a Dev.To account and write a new post with #mulesofthackathon
• Throughout your project you can join the Hackathon discussion group and get support from MuleSoft. Join now!
Submission guidelines
• Your solution must use MuleSoft in some way
• Your project must be started and completed between 22 October 2020 - 29 November 2020.
• You can use APIs and data sources that are publicly available. You cannot use confidential data sources or APIs in your solution.
• Entry must be in English.
• Entry must be freely redistributable by Salesforce via public GitHub or similar repositories. Your code repository must be public.
• Entry must not contain harmful or illegal activity or content or in any way violate any federal, state, or local laws, rules, or regulations.
• Entry must use MuleSoft in the demo or project. If you are not a paid customer, you can submit your entry using a 30-day free trial account.

• Creativity/Innovation: 25 points possible
• Usability/User Experience: 25 points possible
• Usage of MuleSoft: 25 points possible
• Submission Quality: 25 points possible
